Homeowners Coverage

Your home is one of your most valuable possessions. It's important to understand the homeowners fire policy. Along with outlining what is covered, it also contains many conditions of coverage and many endorsements to add coverage or to eliminate certain exposures. You should review those exclusions that are part of every policy.

Pricing should be balanced along with a tailor-made contract. You want to make sure you're insured with a financially solvent company that can pay a claim. You want to do business with a proven professional independent agent, someone who will be around when you have a problem.

You need to know how much coverage will be needed to rebuild your home and how the insurance industry calculates replacement cost values. If your home is not adequately insured at the time of the claim; you may suffer financially due to the co-insurance (penalty) clause. Although some type of replacement cost endorsement may be attached to the policy, you are still expected to insure your home to value at all times.

There are many options to consider. Our goal is to identify your various exposures to financial loss, make recommendations, help implement a plan and continuously monitor it in the future. Isn’t that what you would want for you and your family?
