 Massachusetts
requires that your license plates and registration be returned to the Registry of Motor Vehicles
in order to cancel your automobile policy. If you cannot make arrangements with someone locally willing to visit the RMV, please
contact our office.
Plate cancellations must be done properly to avoid excess premium charges and excise tax
problems. Do not discard or destroy those plates.
